Review & Swatches on the Urban Decay Electric Palette

Let me introduce myself: I'm a college student that has a crazy relationship with makeup. You can call it unhealthy, but what girl/woman doesn't have an unhealthy obsession?

Anyways, I thought my first post should have something to do that may peak interest in some people so I thought, why not a review on a product of a brand that is a cult favorite?

Urban Decay's Electric Pressed Pigments Palette is TO DIE FOR! I purchased it and received it today from Ebay just because I was able to get it at $40 as opposed to the retail value of $49, which is still a great price for such an amazing palette of 10 eyeshadows. It comes in a super compact and travel friendly palette. The design on the outside reminds me of the Rorschach inkblot tests but with NEON colors which are so beautiful.

THE EYESHADOWS:
You get 10 eyeshadows, 8 of which are exclusive to this palette:
Revolt: a shimmery silver
Gonzo: a cool mid-tone blue
Slowburn: a neon orangey red
Savage: a bright hot pink
Fringe: a teal blue green
Chaos: a dark blue
Jilted: a neon fuchsia
Urban: a beautiful dark purple
Freak: a mint shimmery green
Thrash: a goldish vibrant yellow

PROS/CONS:
These eyeshadows are safe to use around the eye area; however they do stain so be careful! Fortunately, that's the only con I can think of. Other than that, this palette is not only a must have for the makeup fanatic that loves to create crazy looks, but a great addition to the neutral eye lover that would love to add a pop of color to their makeup looks. They are SUPER pigmented and can be used without a primer.

WAYS TO USE THE PALETTE:
These shadows can be used for the lower lash line as an eyeliner, a pop of color on the lid, or as a crease color along with a black to smoke out your look. They can even be applied on the lips for a crazy fun pop of color to catch attention!

SWATCHES!!!! Keep in mind these were swatched on unprimed skin with just one swipe; I did not rub the shadows to pick up product because they are super pigmented and staining!

From L to R (Fringe, Savage, Slowburn, Gonzo, Revolt)

From L to R (Thrash, Freak, Urban, Jilted, Chaos)

Now my question to you, is which is your favorite and whether or not you'd like to see some looks with this palette? Personally mine are Slowburn and Urban!

Thanks so much for reading!
